Most apps are chasing influencers.
We’re recruiting grandmas. 🍲

Seriously.

We want your mom, your aunt, your grandfather with the secret chili recipe, the neighbor who still writes recipes on index cards.

That’s the goal.

Zap Cooking should feel like the natural place on the internet to share recipes, cooking stories, family traditions and food culture.

Not because it’s “bitcoin.”
Not because it’s “tech.”
Because it’s genuinely better.

We’re building:

* beautiful recipe pages
* AI recipe importing from links, photos and handwritten cards
* built in payments and memberships
* community groups and chats
* longform food blogging
* open social profiles
* no ads spying on you
* no algorithm fighting for attention
* no platform lock in

And the wild part?

Most people using it won’t even need to know what Nostr is.

That’s how freedom tech wins.
Not through ideology alone. Through better products.

We are normalizing open protocols, ownership, interoperability and value for value by making something people actually want to use.

The future should not belong to closed platforms and surveillance feeds.

It should belong to communities.
Recipes. Families. Creators. Real people.

Stay hungry. 🍳

Family recipes tend to be secrets.

My grandma keeps her .38 special on top of her recipe book, in case someone tries to take her self proclaimed ‘world famous’ lasagna recipe. 😆
