Energy in it's various form is just migrating structure that is nyet harder memory. Example white light reflected off a surface memory, some of the light becomes hard memory (changes the colour of the surface over time) the reflected light now is not white, some of it remains on the surface, the other in now not white light but the colour that we observe the surface as being.
