Worth it, if you can get an adjustable one. Others have mentioned the IKEA one. I also recommend.

Very good if you have back problems. Not so good if you have knee problems. If you plan to stand at your desk for several hours per day, take walking/sitting breaks every now and then. You can also use some an “active stool”, which is a kind of stool that supports your lower back a bit but isn...

Its a no brainer for a sovereign individual. Regain your strength, plus it helps with posture if youre intentional. #ProofofWork

Good idea, if people use them. Our old office had a few - people used to just sit at them lol

Yes, if you can be productive standing up it's obviously the way to go, but you should be barefoot or wearing barefoot style footwear.

My standing opinion is that sitting is more confortable.
Ronin · 159w
Bought one recently, manual. I like it, if Ineed to concentrate and be more productive it helps. I think I need an high bench or something to lean an keep the legs stretched .
mcshane · 159w
standing desk only
OriginalSize · 159w
Not worth it. Varidesks enforce an uncomfortable position. The full-size ones are still risky to move if you have any cabling at all so they stay put. Be happy with your boring old stationary desk and take a walk every once in a while.
Muuny · 159w
it is dangerous to stand on your desk
Mark · 159w
I'd probably want one if I had to work at a desk. I like that I have to be on my feet all day for work, as weird as that might sound.
alex · 159w
I got myself an adjustable standing desk a year ago because I was having back and butt pain. After some time, I started experiencing a legs pain as well. 😆 Excercise, stretching and regular breaks from any desk fixed everything.

I use one because I'm tall and the generic monitor stands are too low. I never stand up at my desk to use my computer
