I have been having a really hard time sleeping more then 5 hours.

I've started waking up around 4am & can not go back to sleep.
I have one anxious thought about, work or life and my brain goes into hyperdrive & will not turn off.
I'm needing suggestions on staying asleep, or middle of the night sleep meditation or just going back to sleep.

I usually sleep the same. I actually had a decent snooze last night, woke up at 5:30am thismorning which is normal. Same thing though, wake up early, start thinking about the day ahead and then can’t get back to sleep. I relate it to stress & anxiety depending on what job I’m doing.

Distract you r mind with interesting but meaningless podcasts. I personally prefer one that cover different sports since I don’t care if I fall asleep but am interested enough to not have some thoughts keeping me awake.
