It is funny because it is true. She should have held them overhead. Yeah yeah I know his scale lacks the precision but it is true.

The effects of gravity are stronger closer to the center of mass of the object. Overhead the stuff is farthest from the center of the earth. The difference is far to small to measure reasonably at that distance change.
