Plaza BTC is now live on the @Zapstore for Android.

A full noncustodial Bitcoin Lightning Point of Sale in your pocket. Boom. Create a custom catalog, accept tips, scan or tap to pay, add your location to the discovery map (combines the BTC Map with the Plaza Map), inventory, sales analytics, sign in with your nsec key or create a new npub/nsec on the app.

Customers can also use it to discover merchants, view their catalog, get directions, save their favorite merchants, and connect their wallet to pay them, if they so choose. After paying a merchant, there’s a qr code that is a blossom receipt.

Is this basically a nostr client? It may be so.

Built on open protocols: Lightning, Nostr, Blossom.

I am confused! A closed-source-code app cannot be non-custodial. Even if I give the app a NWC link to my own wallet, what stops it from displaying a fake QR and stealing the client's payment? It is based on trust, hence custodial.
