I think I'm kind of fascinated by the false realities abusers construct & find myself wondering whether they think they are fooling people when their lies are so obvious. Is fooling people the point at all? Probably not, huh? Although I guess there are SOME people fooled, some straggling MAGAts who see a projection of strength.

Obvious lies are so fucking weird to me. I know they serve social purposes. I still can't process it.

It's hard to figure out what to do with abusive people's lies. Sometimes exposing them as lies serves a purpose. I've been in situations where being a determined, extremely pedantic truth-seeker allowed me to expose an abuser's false pretense of innocence. This doesn't really apply when the falseh...
