robosats provides the framework to do any transaction, including what you are describing.

To be honest, I think getting paid via Venmo and giving them BTC wouldn’t be that bad.. all Venmo would see is a credit card transaction. Would never know the other person received BTC.

I accept Bitcoin so you can use my fiat accounts. Nice 🔥 Banks would have a stroke.

But as somebody with Bitcoin, would I want to use such a service, knowing I’m exposing the shops and services I frequent to increased risk of fraud, while doing nothing to further Bitcoin adoption

Bisq has cash by mail https://bisq.wiki/Cash_by_mail . If that works I can imagine it is simple to implement anything by mail transaction.
