Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei told lawmakers that open-source AI is moving down a “very dangerous path.”

Scared he is. Very scared

I've experienced all he mentioned using controlled models. Usage monitored. Access revoked and I've watched them change what the models are able to do. Looks like I need to look at open source models as a small developer who wants to iterate quickly. . .

I think he needs a hug. Never seen someone so scared.
