Besides absurd diversity for no explainable reason, my biggest gripe with the newest Spider-man is a trend to make them overly sad and depressing.

The latest Guardians of the Galaxy is a great example of that.
Everyone was fighting, they had those mad Frankenstein monsters that made you sad as hell. Young kid’s don’t need exposure to that kind of stuff.

I no longer trust Disney for kids under 12. 🌻
