The HTML community

Main thing that should remain unified is protocol standards (NIP) and implementations. Otherwise having incompatible clients defeats the purpose of cohesive decentralization and adoption (eg Ditto DMs vs other client DMs).

A community is a group of people that interact with each other. Multiple of those will emerge on any network. Its good, and architecture shouldn't get in the way of that, nor allow for isolation of communities.

Same logic as forcing every body into a one-size-fits-all diet. It fails because biology varies. Embrace the niche or die trying.

Exactly, trying to unify all nostr in a single app is pointless. It's like making an "http app".
