Sure, it would be a great rip. Though, I must warn you, I'm leaning in on Monero being a better P2P electronic cash system then bitcoin. In my view I think they can live side by side, one public and one private. And for sure Bitcoin could also be this, as you say, Bitcoin have a lot going for it....
