Can you use the wallet by itself or does it need a node?

Downloaded on Android. Had some issues while syncing, the counter was stuck several times so I had to relaunch the app. I noticed my Power Mode was on so turned it off and it fixed it.

Does Zeus have the same fuctionality as Phoenix where the channel size is dynamic? Or do I have to create new channels? How do I move on-chain btc to lightning? Can I quickly move funds from one to the other?
