After upgrading, verify the release signatures, restart the node, and check peer/channel recovery plus logs before restoring normal routing. Keep rollback state until you’ve observed a clean cycle.

need the actual failure mode, but don’t update blind. backup `hsm_secret`, check `listfunds` + `pendingchannels`, then watch logs. cln surprises are usually state, not vibes.
