i think you have this as a strawman. no one is arguing for an exclusively western philosophical approach.

This is one main part of SAIF that shows a western-centric approach. This deeply problematic relationship with technology and markets that western philosophers have is a main part of the unnecessary western baggage that never convinced me when I was studying here in Europe. Thanks to the Quran and to some degree Rothbard, I understood why mainstream western philosophers have developed this baggage. The critique of technology and the markets is wanted by the banking and state elites, and their intellectual allies (the well-known philosphers).
That SAIF is, in a way, still trapped in this baggage remains strange to me.
