@nprofile1q... I understand... But I must say that these days I see a lot of kids who don't want to put in effort. Some things are very difficult to succeed at in your first attempt, and do need a few tries before they become manageable.

That's not to say I don't understand what you're saying. But I have a teenage daughter who's looking for any excuse to never do anything she doesn't "feel like"

And if she read what you just wrote, we'd need to talk about how that's different from being lazy ๐Ÿ˜…
