Yeah this seems like a pretty clear cut road rage homicide. You can't just chase down and pop someone for denting your fender.

Intent will be what's questioned. She intended to shoot the guy. Shooting the wrong one makes it that much worse. Even if she shot the right one, it was no longer self defense but intentionally harming someone. It would still be murder as there was intent to kill and no removal or descalation.
