I've always found it best just to hire a pilot with their own bird... Lots of small towns have airports and hobbyists. Much better than commercial consumer flying. No TSA, new friends, and faster.

Just don't fly to Tenerife South airport, they make non EU passengers queue for 2 hours in a goldfish bowl like corridor just to get to passport control so they can scan you fingerprints
