In my opinion, this is *by far* the most difficult part of research, & it is part of why I share the stuff I learn, because vetting information is *fucking difficult*.

I'm not perfect at this (that would be impossible) but it's a skill that gets better with practice.

It's also why I try to stay open to genuine new information or valuable new perspectives. I could be missing something, & if someone trusts me, I fucking owe it to them to keep learning & re-evaluate the things I think I know.
