I've been mostly absent online lately and I'm sorry, I know it made some of you worry. A very good person passed away. I'll be back to normal when I can.

I feel that mourning is a form of jealousy:
they have escaped this damned world and left you alone in it,
a place you were never meant to be in the first place,
forced now to keep enduring it,
locked inside the prison of your meatsuit…

“And I declared that the dead,
who had already died,
are happier than the living,
who are still alive.
But better than both
is the one who has never been born,
who has not seen the evil
that is done under the sun.”
Ecclesiastes 4:2-3

Hey again, from someone who did everything wrong after their loved died, I want to tell you, that you are not alone with your feelings. It's very hard, close to impossible, but what else do you want to do but trying to better your situation? Try to do some fun things again. Hope you do well soon.

When I was a kid, my first real internalisation of death came from a book. It was Man Meets Dog by Konrad Lorenz. In the final chapter, Fidelity and Death, he talks about the grief of a dog’s shorter lifespan. Dogs live only about one-fifth as long as humans. ...so a human will watch a beloved do...
