My wife tried to log into her facebook account last night to find that it had been hacked, converted to French & Facebook had suspended her account.
She then tried to appeal the suspension, meta immediately replied back that she had breached the user agreement and that her account has been terminated with no right to further dispute.

POOF 💨
Her 20yrs on Facebook has now vanished. The End.

a fucking stupid system to ban users without any possibility to recover the content. what if there were unique family photos that were lost a long time ago? nope, banished to the shadow realm. that's what i hate about the internet. everyone wants to be the one in control.

Very sorry this happened. The hackers don't hack Facebook-- they accessed your wife's account. So either you have a Trojan/virus on your computer, or her password was compromised or easy to guess. Make sure she isn't using the same password anywhere else, and if she's using weak passwords anywhere, ...

Good reminder to download all the pictures. That's sad I have so many relationships too. My business page got suspended last year with no hope of recovery... I had to start over.
