Haha yeah I heard about that. Its a bit crazy. Oh well. I know Fender acquired Presonus, so their interfaces are essentially their technology.
I did not know that. I had hopes that Presonus would officially support their devices on Linux after they already did for Studio One. Haven't kept up with it all.
