You can get some pretty badass flashlights these days if you're willing to drop a couple hundred bucks. Like, illuminate a whole football field with a handheld flashlight.

I own flashlights but rarely use them. I found in power out situations I never find them which has always annoyed me. I just put up lil motion detector lights everywhere so I don't need a flashlight when the power goes out 😁
