My boomer dad sends me like 50 youtube clips a day of America/MAGA, 'Murica the greatest country on earth slop all day, and I just ignore 90% of it because usually I'm at work, or am busy doing something. I love my dad but I agree with you, the boomers need to be stopped.

I generally just stick to telling people politely what I need or want in our relationship. So I'd just be honest. In my case, that would seriously overstimulate me. Any form of excessive communication does. I also leave my phone on 24/7/365 do not disturb and won't always reply. Some people natura...

Do the math for them. 20% cancer and 20% heart disease is X of your children and grandchildren wh...

Change your phone number. Don't expose your phone numbet amd watch them fall on their face when you require them to use Signal, but not because they don't know how. The dichotomy will push them away despite your best efforts to maintain contact.

You can't. Ive tried. They're addicted and the solution starts with them, internally.

Why not arecommendations system? Recommend better activities, reads, stuff to do that fills their life so much that they switch off from fakebook? Maybe chess. Or walk a dog. A new hobbie... A new circle of friends... A mission...

For starters, get off of Facebook, then learn how to describe the person you supposedly love without using terminology you think is disparaging. Being a boomer is a badge of honor, they have lived through things this generation would literally have a seizure over if asked to do the same.
