And do what? They lowered the miners activation from 95% to 55%, even that failed with only 1% miners support. If they force UASF, they will fork off with no miners support and die immediately.

But... Noderunner set the policy. Miners hash. Those two things are not the same.
Heck, you may be right, but I am learning more about this that I ever would have thanks to this kerfuffle. Philosophically, I side with whoever wants to keep Bitcoin as a peer to peer electronic cash system. Nothing else.
I get the feeling this is just the start of moving back towards that.
