I have been. I don't claim to know a lot about this.

But... Noderunner set the policy. Miners hash. Those two things are not the same.

Heck, you may be right, but I am learning more about this that I ever would have thanks to this kerfuffle. Philosophically, I side with whoever wants to keep Bitcoin as a peer to peer electronic cash system. Nothing else.

I get the feeling this is just the start of moving back towards that.

Unless you, the node runner create your own template, then you are just a β€œhasher”. Point is there won’t be enough miners support to keep the fork alive, if that is the case, what is the point of this?
