So Basically, Debian, Fedora, and Arch are the Bitcoin of Linux. everything else are utility coins that ultimately confuse and rug the user.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm not saying everything else is bad or a rug. I'm saying that something like Gentoo or a beta distro like PopOS (a DE literally being built from the ground up in a new way on a newish standard) probably isn't going to be the best start for someone who has no idea...
