Odell's guide was distinct for instructing users to use microSD, avoiding USB, and to add 100 dice rolls to entropy generation.

The USB debugger flag being accidentally left on was cited by Coinkite as the bug NVK was alluding to to Odell, but (1) that bug was fixed before the 4.x.x was distributed to customers and (2) that bug could not reasonably allow Odell to "steal all affected customer's Bitcoin".

Only the entropy vulnerability which *was* released and *would* have allowed for broad remote theft applies to the sparse details NVK provided to Odell.

I agree. Him not addressing your question at all I found strange. Him stating "my guides never had people connect an unlocked coldcard to their computer" was just a statement, and not an answer to your question.
