I only say stocks because of convenience and liquidity. Ideally, I’d want real estate, but don’t have the time to manage a property or a tenant. Gold would be great if the fees were a lot lower.

Not entering in better or worse. What I have to say is that real state puts you on an invisible leash, and pulls when you least expect it.
