Over 30,000 Americans were stranded in planes that couldn't land, so Canada took them in. In many towns, average people just accepted American strangers to their homes and fed them for days.

One town of just 10,000 people took in 7,000 Americans.

25 years later, the us government considers Canada an enemy, while singing praises to North Korea and inviting Russia back to the g20. American politicians now make fun of Canada's military after many of our veterans died trying to get justice in Afghanistan.
