It was funny before I knew any better when we were first married I sprayed the whole thing with Easy Off and ran a locked self clean cycle on it. About 30 minutes in there was a giant explosion and the door was permanently locked because something had bent.  I’m lucky I didn’t blow the glass out of it.

The self cleaning function of ovens over the past few years have that problem, and repair experts have advised against using it.
