Right, which just brings up the larger issues of financial freedom... Even in the situation where someone (say) dropped off a Duffel bag of cash at the doorstep of the Red Cross, would they even be able to accept it? Is there any capability for 501c3's or other charitable groups to accept truly "anonymous" donations?

It seems kind of silly for an organization like that to be limited in what donations it can take.

I think it's a question for a lawyer. Each state and country will have their own answer, and it's likely going to be something convoluted. To add to the complexity, no ones forces you to incorporate in the state you live in. From a practical standpoint, anonymous donations are nothing new. Maybe yo...
