So you really always go with the risk, that nothing will be transacted, when the other person did not actually have the proper amount.

More nuanced than that. Payer can have tokens ready and have no internet, hotel might have their own private connection and be able to get their money on the spot. Even if both parties have no connectivity the tokens being transferred at least should the credits existed at some point, even if it’...
