I'm genuinely interested in how many of my contacts are debt free, have no mortgage and don't finance stuff on Amazon, home appliances, mobile devices etc etc.

If you've freed yourself comment below. Everyone else, until you only buy stuff you can actually afford you'll still a fiat slave stuck in a debt driven world.

people with mortgages, car loans etc may be performing a speculative attack on the dollar, particularly if their interest rate is under 8%

Nice try Fed 👀 Joking aside i escaped debt. But use credit cards to keep a modest credit score just in case. Until at least my stack is substantial enough to support me in confidence until the end of my days.

Paid off mortgage and car decades ago. Paying off loan for new AC (Texas necessity) this year, then debt free again.

never got into debt thanks to my parents advice. except credit cards of course but those are autopay statement balance and I spend much than I make
