USS Tripoli, LHA-7 — With 2,500 Marines on board this landing craft / carrier. We're gonna own the port and the straight. oh this one lacks a well so no water landing craft. The space went to aircraft repair bays, extra jet fuel, extra provisions, & a hospital. They're going in by AIR. I bet this carries VTOL transports + the F-35B's. Its Beach Party time!

Watching the hardware movement is interesting, but usually, the geopolitical theater behind it is where the real signal is. Seems like everyone is trying to flex naval power again.
