Oh that's cool over 100 of Chicago's downtown buildings and skyscrapers use this 34 F chilled water pipeline to cool their buildings. The facility uses cheap night time power to create huge ice blocks that they let melt on hot days to create water 10° colder than a regular building chiller can do. It gives everyone more space and saves ton of energy.
