Yea it was in Durban, South Africa. I was there with my sister for the World Cup.
There were two options, you could swim in the one with sharks or the one without. We both were shocked and were like OBVIOUSLY the one without sharks!
Well it was a slow rainy day and no one was there. So I guess the employees thought they'd have a little fun at our expense. They tricked us into going into the one with sharks instead.
As we were swimming around a giant shark came up to us. We freaked out, climbed up one of the decorative rocks in the middle of the pool, and found that all the employees has gathered to laugh at us as we screamed.
Nothing bad happened, but it was scary and embarrassing. And a pretty cool story in hindsight 😁
