I (intentionally) know little about AI and am curious if this comparison to China’s Great Leap Forward rings true to those of you who are in business environments where it’s being used.

I’m also guessing that if (when?) the AI bubble bursts, some enthusiasts will go on emphatically saying, “Yeah, what happened was terrible, but *real* AI just hasn’t been tried yet…”
