Your observation about there being lots of posts at the moment about this is on-point, unfortunately while your site is looking good I'm still finding it 50/50 whether a site in general will work. Unfortunately most of the WordPress- and Ghost-based sites don't seem to like my webmentions, and I'm not happy about subscribing in order to leave a comment.

How are you finding the reliability of other sites?

Some people just have a very basic implementation and don't really seem to distinguish between the different response types....
