1. Me, me and me: Selfish favour that only focus his/her benefits.

If the requestor genuinely think about you, they will offer a hand first as a favour before asking a favour back. It is called the art of reciprocity in psychology.
There is nothing wrong with that if both parties are clear of the benefits and what they get out of it. Genuine favour begets genuine favour.
Value first before getting a value back. Value for value which we stand by here on #nostr.

2. Profiter vs benefactor: wittingly people will ask a favour from you without you realising there is a financial incentive: either to lure you to comply to buy something in return of a favour. This is innocent but can be manipulative so be mindful out there.

Eg. you are invited to a party in the hope you enjoy and socialise. But it is meant to be to upsell you to buy products.
Selling is not the problem as long as you know to spot it and politely decline and enjoy the party without being pressured to buying things you do not need.
