I've been using @GrapheneOS in desktop mode yesterday for all my work. You can plug in a display, keyboard and mouse, and you have a full desktop environment with all your apps, windows, etc. And it's pretty good. The only problem is the device gets pretty hot doing all that work.
I can work without a laptop now. External foldable keyboard, any monitor (hotel TV with HDMI input is enough). The last thing that enabled that (besides Android 17 GrapheneOS update, that made the desktop usable for me) is of course Trezor Safe 7, which connects over Bluetooth and has a first-class Android support: https://affil.trezor.io/SHu3 (Use code TAKECONTROL to celebrate Binance recommending EU customers to move to self-custody after they failed to get MiCA license).
