If your parents or in-laws are retired Baby Boomers… how engaged & supportive are they in your life today? Or do they mostly expect to be hosted, catered to, & looked after whenever you’re together?

Not really engaged. Doing their own thing, and when they are around... "catered to" sounds familiar.

My narcissistic boomer father wants to be catered to and looked after. He semi-retired without a pension at the ripe old age of 55 and then mooched off of me and my brother.
