we spent years telling kids you don't need to try at school bc you can just make a bunch of money in the trades, and now our homes and infrastructure are being worked on by people who hate learning
@nprofile1q... Dunno if that's a fair assessment...a decent builder spends much of their career learning if they want to get better. I think it's more about some kids being a poor fit for traditional schooling.
