Yep, flavorful meat that falls off the bone in shreds I’m making this now lol.

Yes! I love nothing more than putting a chuck roast into the slow cooker, set it, forget it, and pick it at it for days. Delicious meat (and the resulting juice/broth is also fabulous). Sometimes I sear it first, sometimes not. I also lay it on a bed of sliced onion (for flavor only).
