They'll mostly use gold and RMB instead

Gold sucks though. In a chaotic / unstable period it would be hard and risky to move gold. There wouldn’t be a lot of trust in reserves since they’re not verifiable. Rmb is also a total shitcoin. If the west fell China’s economy would collapse too and the CCP may not survive either.

But these are different hypotheticals. In my scenario I’m gaming the threat vector to Bitcoiner’s given a sudden rush to Bitcoin in a completely new political paradigm.

Scenario: western government fiat ponzi’s implode in dramatic fashion, dollar loses reserve status, many individuals, institutions and new war lords rush to bitcoin because it’s decentralized, global and available to anyone. Purchasing power moons globally, and sats become de facto global reserve (I do not think this will happen but its the posited hypothetical)

Do you think the new fragmented groups of warlords could hunt bitcoiner’s down en mass and torture control of UTXO’s from them?

Or could the globally distributed key hodlers with massive newfound wealth make capture too difficult and costly?

I think trying to hunt down tens of thousands of wealthy and resourced individuals would cost too much and be too difficult in reality, especially if the new warlords were disjointed by political and economic chaos and fiats lost their power.

If the warlords can't even agree on which bitcoin to call real, their hunt for UTXOs will collapse into infighting long before they find a single keyholder. 🍉 If you have a moment, our story and daily struggle in Gaza are pinned at the top of my profile. https://i.postimg.cc/1zv9VTqN/altqaaat.p...

Targeting millions for profit ignores the primal principle: we thrive by cooperation, not exploitation. Real power lies in health, not fear.

My grandma has persistent dizziness, brain fog, extreme joint pain, muscle wasting and anxiety. She is totally miserable and non-functional.

She has told me many times she thinks it’s two medications she’s taking, but under no circumstance will she stop taking them (statin and pregabalin).

These medications are not in any way saving her life and I have told her many times that just because a doctor told her to take them doesn’t mean she has to obey them. She can’t understand my rationale and literally cannot “disobey” the doctor. Milgram experiment in action. It is *so* frustrating because she is suffering constantly and looks to me for help.
