Used to use single sig and a passphrase and on paper that was plenty secure. But the unknown unknowns entered the chat.

Now in the name of the unknown unknowns and whatever new crazy shit the future brings, I’m going with multi sig with a passphrase and three different signers from three separate sources. Generate own entropy only.

This feels bullet proof long-term.

I see what you’re saying @Telluride and that method feels like legitimate randomness / entropy.

My issue with dice rolls is it’s hard to know if the signer being honest.

If you want pure seeds, use casino dice with proper rolls and surface and don’t use any software and do cryptography math yourself to generate the seed and the derivative pathway.

As much I have studied, only casino dice that too rolled on a bouncy surface gives true entropy which is bit higher than a hardware wallet entropy. Seedstick doesn’t qualify as true randomness.

As far as I’ve read these should give you good entropy, you can also print bip39 words list, cut them individually and put them in a hat and pick them, that should work too.
