Gatekeeping by definition is the act of prevention. It’s just my preference that more stupid people don’t use this protocol. It’s not a complicated preference no clue why you’re writing so much or allowing yourself to be triggered by a strangers opinion on the internet.

I really don’t care about normies specifically but the proportion of retards per 100 normals is higher than in most of the cohorts who use Nostr currently.

The issue is I can’t keep the retards out of my feed currently. I have reduced exposure but it’s impossible to cleanse completely. I don’t want the issue to get worse.

I’m also not able to gate keep anything. Very few people are here now and I personally don’t see that changing. Nostr will remain niche imo for a long time and maybe forever.
