Yes, totally agree. And I would include wine into the mix of totally acceptable alcohol drinks. As a matter of fact, sweet cider is the only alcohol drink that doesn’t quite cut it.

(For some reason there are a lot of Christians who refuse to drink and I think it's for religious reasons. But didn't Jesus himself drink wine? I think so. And for sure he had nothing against people who drink wine.)

Fun fact: back then (around the time Jesus lived), wine almost certainly had a lower alcohol content. Most natural (wild) yeast used for fermentation actually stopped working around 4-7% ABV. Modern strains have been developed to allow fermentation up to 12-15%, but these didn't exist back then. Als...
