Forgive my ignorance, how is he a grifter? I haven’t followed him lately

I have not followed Ian that much recently. And I do not know what kind of a man he is. He is publishing a lot of truthful content, but:

- he is surprisingly ignorant about Bitcoin. So ignorant that sometimes it's difficult to believe that it's just ignorance. But of course it could be;

- despite of his loud criticism of centralized social media apps controlled by the ones he criticizes, he seems to be happy using those apps;

- he was on Joe Rogan, so it seems that the establishment is ok with him 🤣

So... Ian seems to be calling out the right people. But instead of giving any importance to the alternatives (Bitcoin and Nostr) he seems to give them just enough importance to get the respect in the Bitcoin and Nostr circles.

Having said that, I want to highlight that Ian publishes a lot of good content. He might just not get Bitcoin and Nostr. Perhaps he just needs time.

My point is that the number of Federal employees is totally irrelevant when the US is clearly moving into a technocracy.

The problem with big government is that it is:

a) expensive
b) restricting people’s lives

Is the public sector now less expensive and is the country giving people more freedom?

If not, what are we celebrating here?

No. If you look at the data, expenses have gone up with the cuts. Additionally, now instead of direct hiring, they just increase their usage of third-party contractors. I am one.

I am not shocked about the claims related to Palantir, but I find interesting the part about the hacking.

In the beginning Kim writes that "allegedly hacked". And then he writes that "I’m not involved in the Palantir hack and I don't know the hackers. But I do know that the hack happened."

If someone has information about this topic, please enlighten me about how Kim can *know* that the hack happened. And if he does know that it happened, do you have any idea why he first says that it happened “allegedly”?
