today we played Cy_Borg. It was the first time when I played OSRish system and actually felt like pulp action hero. Like all those Sword and Sorcery systems promised me and didn't deliver.

I rolled somewhat of a cybernetic gladiator type with two very specific things. First was 12 HP, which was more than all other three characters combined. Second was two handed sword dealing 1d10 of damage which means most enemies could be defeated with one hit.

So I just walked there and beat things.

I don't like the book, it's obnoxiously hard to decipher. I don't really like the rules either, just like I didn't like Mork Borg. At least the setting mentions you play cyberPUNKS and that working for capitalists is not the good outcome. And even the thing I like came about as part of random gener...
