"Technical facts" don't select themselves. Lopp framed unlimited OP_RETURN as "neutral" (Point 8) while ignoring it breaks 10 years of policy and leaves CVE-2023-50428 unpatched.

Why? Because 83 bytes kills his investment; 100KB saves it.

You can't separate the "what" from the "who" when the "who" decides which facts get spotlighted. That's not ad hominem - it's due diligence.
