I took my first batch of rocks out of the tumbler today. They're pretty shiny. I don't known if it could have gone any better on a first attempt.
This one is my favorite. I managed to get a picture that nicely shows the epidote inside of the quartz. There are a few of these, but this one is beautiful to me...

The red and yellow jasper is pretty, too.
I want to spend time over the winter to learn jewery making. I don't wear jewerly but it seems like a logical addition to my hypothetical online rock shop. I'm still unsure of a style. Wire wrapping is kind of gaudy to me, drawing attention away from the stones.

Round 2 in the tumbler has to wait a couple weeks. I need to order a motherboard battery for this cheap, old but basically unused laptop that I have, so that I can use it to try this livestream idea (livestream rock and roll? 😅). But I've been busy gardening, road tripping, camping, working, Nostr-ing, and catching wild animals. I'll be really happy to see snow this year.
