I abandoned Facebook for 2 years to share myself on Nostr and be of service to the filed because I believe in the protocol and the freedom tech.

What I need to face is that's where my community is NOT here. Not yet anyways. I really wish I could have built what I have there here but I guess I am not your Bitcoin influencer or necessarily desire to become one. But I do value connection, belonging, being recognized, being seen, being held and supported when I most need it.

The juxtaposition I guess is in the algo I guess or whatever.

Glad you came to that realization, albeit late and with some hard lessons. We feel the same way. Upscrolled and some private groups are where our community is at, where we feel at home and motivated to contribute. Nostr, meanwhile, is just a circle jerk for Bitcoin and some pseudo-tech discussions....
